K-9 Zina had a tumor behind her right eye and down the right side of her mandibular bone. On June 8th K-9 Zina had to have her right eye removed because of the tumor. She is doing much better and in a lot less pain since removing her eye. She is eager to return to work but is resting at home with family. I do not know how much more time K-9 Zina has left but by removing her eye it is buying us a little more time. K-9 Zina is a real hero and has served The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department since August 2012. K-9 Zina has seized 11,096.8 pounds of Marijuana, 1,978.3 Pounds of THC Oils, 188.1 pounds of Cocaine, 718.0 pounds of Methamphetamine, 31,571 tablets of Ecstasy, 200.5 pounds of Heroin and $6,495,999.00 in U.S. currency.
